Robert Earl Pough
Died August 7, 1994 Age 52
Robert was born July 15, 1942 in Boise, a son of Earl F. Pough and Marie Cox Pough. He was raised in Boise, and graduated from Boise High School in 1961. Robert attended Boise State University, obtaining certificates in both welding and drafting.
His family will lovingly remember Robert for his wonderful sense of humor, his comical stories, and endearing mannerisms that have given us all many fond memories. He was very devoted to his entire family and so treasured any occasion that brought family members together. We will miss our big, big brother, his ready smile and generous heart.
The greatest joy of all for Robert was his beautiful daughter, Jill. She truly gave meaning to his life. He was completely devoted to Jill and he longed for their days together, which were packed with outings, activities, and shared interests. He helped to instill in Jill a love for books, libraries, photography, and art. Jill inherited some of her father's artistic talents, and he was intensely proud of her. No father ever loved a daughter more.
Survivors include a daughter, Jill Dianne Pough of Gooding; his mother, Marie Pugh of Boise; a sister and brother-in-law, Joanne and Jon Butler of Emmett; a brother, Allan Pough of Las Vegas, Nevada; a sister and brother-in-law Dianne and Bob Horkley, of Eagle; two nephews, Nathan and Peter Horkley of Eagle; an uncle, Jim Larkin of Boise; and three cousins, Teresa Johnson of Meridian, Jimmy Larkin of Boise, and Carol Vega, of Hillsboro, Oregon.
Robert died of natural causes, at the home of his mother.
